so in my glass tank i have one humid hide for my snake. and i dont know if its a good one or not so i would like some advice.. i found somekind of tupperwear bowl with a lid that has a hole on top for ventilation.. my snake fits perfectly thorugh the hole.. and thats all the ventilation that it has.. inside i have some moist paper towels.. is this a good humid hide..??

Sounds good, if your snake goes into it then it's a success. Just make sure you change the paper towels at reasonable intervals.

Sounds pretty good. I've found that the paper towel dries out quickly. I prefer sphagnum moss. It stays moist, and I think it makes the enclosure smell fresh. It also gives the snake an opportunity to burrow in it's hide.

ya the paper towel is somewat dry now.. where can i find some of that moss?? and do you have to moisten it or is it already moist??

Is your snake due to shed right now? Having a humid hide in the enclosure permanently could cause problems like scale rot if the snake uses it as its preferred hide

im not exactly sure if it just had a shed.. or if its going to shed.. i just bought the snake and i see a couple little flakes on it. so i figured some moisture would help them come off..

Here's one of the type I make:
