Southern black racer, Coluber constrictor constrictor. One of my favorite snakes. Beautiful, chockablock full of nasty attitude, sleek, and bullet fast. Try catching him next time if you're in the mood for an exciting few minutes! When you turn a racer loose, it shows its true colors!
 
I'm saying black racer! But... don't keep him... he deserves to be wild, like any wild born animal.

Wow. Thats a bummer that they are mean snakes, I would LOVE an absolutely flat black snake like that. Too bad you cant get one of those with the friendlyness of a corn.
