And these come from Amelanistic Blood Red parents:

LOL~
Wow...
Didn't know tha they'll look like that...
I just started on that project and produced some F1s....and you're already way ahead of me and have a bizzard bloodred already.....awesome snake!
But the looks doesn't really look any different from a regular blizzard....I bet that you might even sell a blizzard bloodred by accident when you're packing things up in a hurry~!

every single amel of yours has the "scream" head pattern. I really need to figure out this whole head pattern thing! ><

Probably because those are Amelanistic Blood Reds. :)

wow, i feel stupid... I think serpwidgits needs to make a head pattern tutorial as well as his genetics tutorial :p

Smiling?

It looks more like Smiling Skulls to me.
Kinda creepy, but kinda cool at the same time. :)

Anyway - Yeah, congrats on the BR Blizzards, Rich!

I'm curious about what the blizzard bloods will look like when they are older. Would they be like the blizzards except without any yellow on the sides of their necks? Would they be a totally pure white snake?

I think I had them before, but thinking back I'm not really sure if they were actually really Blood Red Blizzards or if they were just Blizzards that came out of that project. From what I remember, those original Blizzards I had turned out having more strongly visible patterns then I saw in the regular Blizzards. But maybe these will turn out better.

If I don't mistakenly sell these off, I will hang onto them and see how they turn out. I was packing up some Blizzards the other day to ship and almost sent out a Blizzard Motley. Not that I think it is anything special, but heck, you never know how some things will turn out.

Why, that's a corn snake!

Sorry, I couldn't resist that......

:laugh01:

OK, you got me. :D

(Says Hurley while noticing the suspiciously absent answer to the morph in question... ;) )

Who me? Now would I do something like that? :grin01:

Nawwwwwwwww, never. In fact, I'd never suggest such a thang.

;)

Post some pics as 'it' ages, couldja? :D (If you can find it, of course. LOL)

You know, someone else I know has a clutch of similar makeup... and within that clutch is a snake with that same set of coloration that Hurley's arrow is pointing to... darned if either of us could figure out what it was... dunno if we'll ever get to, as the thing's a stubborn feeder. Seriously, Rich, any thoughts on what the high-contrast snake in that picture is, morph-wise?

Nope. Not enough information at this point.

But here's another pic showing the head of one of them I hatched out this season.

....... Don't EVEN ask... :laugh01:

Is the clutch in that last pic the result of a hypo pewter project?

I bred one of your Charcoal Ghosts to a Blood het Charcoal and got a couple hatchlings with heads that I seem to remember were that color. They now (as yearlings) have an appearance intermediate between a charcoal and a charcoal ghost.

....... Don't EVEN ask...
Heh, I'm sure a lot of us want to know what the thing in the middle of that picture is. Looks kinda like a hypo blood, but there's something different about it.

It'll definitely be interesting to see what influence the bloodred has on the blizzard as it matures. Like Simon said, they look pretty much like blizzards now, but I would bet they won't look like regular bloods in a year. Too bad you'll be WAY to busy to put any updated pictures on next year...LOL.
