N.A.- 1.1 Hudson Miamis!

Jessicat

All Pied Everything
N.A.- 1.1 Huddleston Miamis!

The sucker for hets I am I jumped at this Miami het Hypo and Motley pair. They arrived late last week, but the female was in shed so I didn't take any "fresh off the plane" pictures. I haven't perfected the skill of taking pictures of baby snakes yet, so here are the best I could get.

Mrs. Brisby
She shed over the weekend.

Nimh
He was not a perfect model like his sister!

So I opted for some feeding shots

Wooo whooo!! I am so excited about this pair. I can't wait for them to start growing up.

The more Miamis I see, the closer they get to being added to my list of corns to get at some point in the future. Especially when they've got those really rich burgundy saddles. x3 Absolutely gorgeous!

(Hey, come to think of it, silver and burgundy were my high school's colors! :grin01: )

Nice pair, Jessica. That male is going to be A-grade. There's hardly a hint of tan to his head/neck. What's a Hudson Miami? These guys have Carol H. written all over them, but her last name is Huddleston. ;)

Glad they are doing well!

Miami photo tip #1, don't use a white (or light tan) backdrop. Deli cups and aspen are the worst. A medium grey or a blue jean backdrop works very well though. Just from years of photographing Miamis. :)

The first two pics of the male look pretty on target.

Oops! Sorry for getting your name wrong Carol. I think my mind may have gone to where my Aunt and Uncle live in Hudson Bay, WI. Oops. Well now I'm embarrassed because I don't think I can edit the title!

Thanks for the tip Carol! I am just not good at getting baby pics in general from ANY snake. Next time I try though perhaps I'll set up a black light box.. Or just place a large black towel under a clear tub. Thanks for the tip!

Very nice looking pair. As a proud owner of some of Carol's Miamis myself - believe me - you will not be disappointed as they grow!!

Well I don't know what you're talking about it looks like the boy Nimh posed perfectly for the camera ;)

Dynamic shots are so much more interesting than them just sitting there.

Thank you Katie! Now I just wish I could get pictures like you do of your Miamis. What camera are you using again? I'm sure I remember you making a thread about getting your digital SLR, but I haven't done a search for that quite yet. A lap top for school related things is my first priority to spend money on, but the next big thing I'm going to save up for is a digital SLR. :crazy02:

Like I said I'm so excited about this pair. I've been eying Carol's Miamis ever since I've joined this site (as I'm sure every other member has). Something about this pair just immediately said "take me". Nimh is definitely a SCREAMER, I think he will turn out perfect. Mrs. Brisby is very nice too though, and I think she will end up being quite a beauty as well.
