I have a 4 year old Miami female corn, 231grams, ( know she needs more weight ) were working on that!

What should I be looking for to breed her with? What morph male would you suggest?

A miami male... or even a crimson.

Miamis are selectivley bred normal corn snakes, to breed her to anything that doesn't have that refined look would be a waste.
 
Ok, so get a Miami male, thats what I thought as well, just figured I'd ask, now is there a way I can post on this forum looking for a male? Or how would I go about finding a male?
( haha, I'm used to dogs lol, put up a Stud wanted, and you get emails. haha. )
 
At 4 years old, she may just be a small, but mature corn. Especially if she's from Miami lines. Pretty wide open to what you "could" breed her too; jmho I'd keep a "miami"theme with her, and breed her to another Miami, a crimson or candycane, or even a "silverqueen" ghost...

Carol breeds the best miamis out there! Shes got a stunning selection of miami motleys available this year, why not look in the for sale section to enquire about availability.
 
Tula, yes she does have BEAUTIFUL snakes, but I'm currently out of snake space. :p.. I just have the setup for the hatchlings etc. I'm hoping to be able to enlarge my space for my corns.
 
A crimson is a hypo miami. Breeding to a regular hypo could easily cost you the look of the miami lines. It would probably be way more beneficial to go for a crimson or candycane (Miami line Amel). As for acquiring one, I would keep an eye out on the 'For Sale' board. You can also post a wanted add for one on the 'Wanted' board. You may want to look for a subadult or adult for her to make sure that they're both around the same age/weight.That way you don't have to worry about wasting breeding years or anything. It's not totally necessary, though, so a hatchling would also be fine. Good luck in your searches. ;)
 
Somebody above mentioned silver queen ghosts as being a "miami theme". Are silver queens derived from miami stock?
 
Ok, I've decided to breed her to a hypo male. if you guys can keep an eye out for a male hypo to breed to my girl. let me know!

Personally I like Candy canes...They are one of my all time fav morphs :)

I wouldn't breed her to a hypo personally, I think you would still lose a bit of the miami effect. If you want to go for a hypo look, rather get a crimson...lol
 
I would go for the Candycane. This way your offspring would all be het amel, instead of only about 50%. Then when you breed back you can be sure that you get some candycanes. Also, amel is a pretty common het, so if your current miami is het amel, you'll get some amels in the first clutch. I wouldn't plan on it though- never plan around the best case scenario. ;)
 
Ok, I am buying in a couple weeks a beautiful Orange Candy Cane male from CornCrazy! :p I want him this week, but dont have the money hehe. I'll post pictures ASAP!
