Ok folks here are some updated pictures of Merc. My adult black milk, he is currently at 1064 gr. He needs to beef back up and I got my order of rats coming in tomorrow just for him.

This guy is a bit big to be photographed Dean Style.

Wow! Every time I see a post of a black milk snake I get envious. ( I don't want another snake,I don't want another snake,I don't want another snake) That guy is niiiice.
I think I might like their look better than corns, sorry. What is their temperament like?

This is guy is pretty mellow. I use him for hands on and educational talks. I personally want a few more to breed in the up coming years.
 
That would be so cool to breed them- to see the little tri-color hatchlings hatch out of eggs from the black parents.

From what I am told these guys can reach 7 feet. Mine is around 6 foot and a little over. I am 5'10 and can hold this guy over my head and he can touch the ground.

I love pushing these guys on people who want a larger snake but not as bulky as a Boa. I have a boa that is the same length and boy does he weight a lot more than this guy does and eats a lot more. Small to Medium size rats compared to 2 pound rabbits.

Oh Elle, Noir will get there soon enough. Patients is a virtue. ;)
you got to see Noir change colors while I got this guy as an adult. He was already black for me. But I love it when they get this bluish tint before shed.

Just imagine owning a Black snake as long as your pine, not as robust or pissy.

They are a great snake to own and by far one of my favorites.

Dean, these guys have a length to them but not the bulk as I have stated. I think this would be a perfect snake for you and would grow to be one of your favorites.

As cages go I keep this guy in a 36 x 24 x 11.5 and he is pretty happy and has plenty of room.

I toally agree! They are just too loveable and majestic and silky. If I could source more CB ones in the uk for less or around £200 ($400 which is what I paid for Noir) I'd deffinatley pick up more. Yeah... thats the stupid prices you gotta pay for stuff like this in the UK.
