Wow, I absolutely adore your Hypo Lavender Stripe boy, he is gorgeous!

I look forward to pics of this pairs offspring, they should be amazing!

Now, I'm just going to wipe the drool off my keyboard....lol....Your making me jealous with all these beautiful corns!

Best wishes,

You know, the female is virtually identical to my het opal stripe Bacon. Same yellow side stripe, so clearly defined, same light frosting. Brilliant orange saddles, golden tan background, very faint black...

Walter:

Is that Don Soderberg's or do you have two of those male gems?

I fell in love when Don's when I first saw them on display at a herp show a couple of years ago. The thing was awesome, but it has really increased in color even more under your care. That's certainly an animal for Don and you BOTH to be proud of!

Hey KJ,
No, that's my male. The one I have from Don is a female and will paired with this male when she gets to breeding maturity. She had a REALLY slow take off, but is doing better now and finally starting to get a little size.
Hopefully she will be ready for next season.

Awesome. I know Don produced 2 males one season and then 2 females the next season. I just thought he said he sent you a male. Now, I don't remember which ones I held. Did you get one of the ones that was so light everyone thought was an opal striped when first observed or did you get one of the darker ones that he knew was a hypo? Geez - what am I talking about - all of the hypo striped lavs are super light. "Darker" isn't quite the correct word, is it? LOL.

When I first got her we were thinking Opal Stripe because of her being so light and the red eyes. Then after some conversation about the genetics of the adults we were thinking her POSSIBLY being a Hypo Opal Stripe, which still could be the case. Breeding her to my Hypo Lavender Stripe will give us that answer for sure.
