More eggs . . . Clutch #5 Test Breeding

Testing out my old man Bloodred (2003 - Kathy Love) for the Amel gene just in case! He hooked up with this lovely little lady that's a second hand SMR product (Fire). She laid a gorgeous clutch of 14 eggs! Kinda surprised me to be honest as she's a smaller lady, but boy did she tuck them in nice and neat. Almost a pyramid of eggs when she was all done. At the least I'll get Bloodreds het Amel. Would be nice to have a Fire or to poke their noses out.

Thanks for looking,

Well so far no little Amel noses sticking out, but I do have some more gorgeous Bloodreds on my hands! :D They just started pipping yesterday.

Here's everybody out in their glory. It's great when you're gone for several days and have no way of peeking into the incubator, or being tempted to peek in the incubator, every 30 minutes! One of the little buggers even decided to get the shedding party started. Hopefully they're all done before I have to leave again on Monday for our final field trip. :shrugs:

Thanks again for looking,

Beautiful wee ones Brent!

If you can find the head to the body in the upper, middle left, the one that looks almost anery, can I see a better pic? LMAO

Thanks, and if you're serious I can try if I remember when I take them out for their individual pictures after their sheds. He/She/It has a pretty distinctive couple of saddles that I may (or may not) be able to re-find. If it weren't for those saddles I'd obviously say no! There's only 14 of them in there anyways.

Congratulations on another beautiful clutch Brent, it's great to see all those little grey heads muddled together :)

Dean would be proud of the little one showing off it's ventral :D

Best wishes for great feeders,

Nice Brent. I like how dark the 1st one is in post 13. If you look real close at his borders, awesome!!
