Dakota Corns
I've always described corn eggs to people as having the texture of a good quality marshmallow. That soft, almost dusty texture they have? Know what I mean?! I then proceed to tell them their size is oblong and about 1/2 the size/thickness of a marshmallow. Something they can relate to. Well, this girl has been a terror the past few days rummaging through her cage. Twice I arrived at her door with her having the lay box cover torn off, moss everywhere, etc. She finally decided to settle down last night and lay her eggs through the course of the day today. HOLY MAN!! These are quite possibly the single largest eggs I've seen come out of one of my corns! They are almost the size of a marshmallow! A Gorgeous 14 beauties (1 slug)!! The male is a Caramel het Amel, so should get close to an even split of Caramels and Butters. Just an FYI, this pair would NOT breed last year for anything. They may have made up for it this year.
