Update for xXMetalsAngelXx & Rockmonkey, Shades Required

Mrs InsaneOne

I See Snakes...
I took our girl out today to snap a few pics of her and was once again dazzled by how bright she's grown over the last two years. I am looking forward to seeing what she produces in 2009 when we breed her!

Here she is when she was just a wee bonnie hatchling:

And now here she is nearly two years later:

The lighting (or lack there of) I used to day gave her more of a reddish glow than she actually has... she's more of a deep, bright orange with some lighter oranges and only a hint of yellows. Definitely one of my favorite amels though...

She's gorgeous! Will she go into an amel/blood project? With her colour intensity, she'd be a great foundation imo

:laugh01: Funny you should mention that... seeing as how she's het blood and either motley or stripe, I can't remember. lol She'll be paired up with Pyrite or Helenite (I reeaallyy need to rename that boy) next year and the year after we'll set her up for a couple of nights with Hematite to see what kind of Fire's the two of them will throw. :D

Jenn, I'm loving your baby/adult comparisons! That girl ought to produce AWESOME fires!

Thanks Nanci! I still can't get over some of the changes these guys have gone through over the last year or two, both in size and color... Makes me glad we've got a decent camera now as we can look back and see it better.

Sunglow fires... yes... I could drool over them... I may breed Hematite to her next year just to cut back the wait - unfortunately if I do that Tim will through a fit and pout for two years. lol

This amels Daddy, was the largest corn I have ever seen first hand.. I can't remember who bought that fellow from RockMonkey, but who ever did has got a deal...
