3rd Cornsnake Clutch To Pip. (Nice Suprise)

Jay@PJCReptiles

"Quality Before Quantity"
Hi Everyone,
Our 3rd clutch of the season has pipped. I didn't post pictures of the second clutch as I was not very happy with the outcome. I had purchased a Snow male a couple of years ago that was sold to me being het Lavender p/homo Lavender. I was able to try to prove him out this year to a Lavender het Anery. I should have got at least one Lavender in a clutch of 16 eggs, right? I didn't get one single Lavender, all Normals and Anerys. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Our third clutch has pipped. This was a pairing between a Caramel Motley (Stephen W.) x Butter Motley (Beckers71). The Caramel Motley girl only gave us nine eggs but they were rather big and robust. I was very surprised to see that she was het Amel. The first snake to pip was a Butter Motley. In the clutch there were 4 Caramel Motley and 5 Butter Motley. Kind of funny how "Murphy" likes to play his lil' games. :shrugs: Here are a couple of pictures of these guys. Thanks for looking and I hope you like.

Congrats on the unexpected butter mots! And I'm sorry to hear about your other clutch not turning out how you'd expected/hoped. Hopefully the rest of your clutches will turn out much better with wonderful surprises like this one!

This looks to be a very nice clutch..:cheers::cheers::cheers:
I am pretty envious of you right now. :D

Fresh Sheds.

Hi Everyone,
All the babies have shed and fed from this clutch. Here are a couple of pictures of a Caramel Motley and Butter Motley. This whole clutch has a very nice "Hurricane" Motley pattern with some nice striping down the sides. My personal preference is a real messy Motley pattern but I guess I will have to settle for these. Guess you can't have 'em all. :shrugs: ;) Thanks for looking and I hope you like.

Beautiful little ones Jay. I personally favor the patterns like the caramel has. Congrats on the babies! :)
