After doing some research (a lot was done on this site) we got our 1st snake. 11-14-08. My 5yr old daughter said "Awwww" when I brought it home. She held it for a min. before going into the temporary shoebox container. My 6yr old nephew didnt want to hold it but he did touch it once. The guy at the pet shop said that it was about 6 weeks old (there breeder told them it was 2 weeks old when they got them and it was at the store for 4 weeks) it ate a pink on 11-16-08. Waiting for it settle in before getting better pics.

CONGRATS & WELCOME! What great pics of you and your daughter welcoming your new addition home. Hope you enjoy your time with us.

Thanks.
Weebonilass, she loves all animals, except when our 3 budgies start getting loud. lol
I have some tarantulas also that she likes looking at, she calls them the "fuzzy spiders"
The Thunder, This seems like the best place for corn snake information on the web that I have found.
I forgot to mention that I added a TP roll on the other side of the container for another hide.

I'm not surprised, little girls are fearless these days. By the looks of it she's hooked, you might as well start researching snake racks now. :D
