  • I bought the new decor and it didn't seem to change the temp of the tank because the light was still able to get through to the substrate. With it being not as bright October comes out a lot more than he did before, I actually have seen him everywhere on the tank except for the ground which has a temp of 85. He's in love with the leaves more than me i'm afraid lol.
    would you happen to know if adding more leaf decor to a tank would cause the temp to drop. my day light is a little bright on one side and I want to add more decor to dull the light down. I already have a UTH but it only raises the temp to 72 ( I live in the basment) which is why I use a day light to raise the temp.
