hi everyone. i am a new member to this site. i am expecting sidney next wednesday. he is a male snow corn snake that hatched in july. i will post pictures when he is comfortable.
i think i have everything he needs: a 20 gallon tank with a red heat lamp set to just under 80 degrees resting on the wire lid, aspen substrate, a large water dish, under tank heater, and plastic leaves suctioned to the side of the tank for climbing and assisting in shedding. i think the only thing left to get for him is a hide box. is there one that is better than the others? am i leaving anything out?
also, i have been getting contrasting information on where to feed him. some say feed him in a separate container than his vivarium. others say feed him in his vivarium. when it comes time, which one is correct?
it is so important to me that this little guy is happy and healthy. i am glad there are people out there with more experience willing to assist me me in decision making. thanks for allowing me to introduce myself.
sincerely, lisa. <><><><><><>~
