    Another Escapee...with a problem

Well, I was checking on my 2 corns today, and one of them seems to have disappeared. The last time I checked on his was the day before yesterday, and I noticed that he had partially regurged his last meal (it was too big..). I live in a dorm room, apartment style, with 4 separate rooms, and 2...

    Isis after shed :D

Here's Isis, shed and fed. Didn't wanna move her too much, because she just ate last night. She has a friend now, too, who I'll post pics of later this week. (he's a motley snow named Artemis. ^^) The first is a before-shed picture, the last 2 are after.

    About Crickets

I was just reading the thread about bad advice people have been given, and it seemed that "corns like crickets" was a popular one. Since so many people seem to think corns can eat crickets, and that they're more nutritious than mice, I'd like to know the reason behind this. (I feed my snake...

Question about snakes drinking tap water?

Well, in the FAQ I saw that tap water should be dechlorinated for the snakes to drink. Is this true? I haven't seen anyone talk about this other than the FAQ, so I was just wondering if most people did this or not. I've been worried that she hasn't been drinking cause I've never seen her do it...

A bit boring, but still cute~

This is my 1 and only corn (so far), Isis. Not sure how old she is, but I'd say about a month or 2. She's not as flashy as so many of the snakes on here, but I still think she's pretty cute. ^^ Sorry for the "bleh" picture quality...she just moves too much.

Using a UTH with a plastic tank

I have bought a 4 watt exoterra UTH, size small. My baby corn is currently housed in a plastic "Critter Keeper" type tank, which is about 12 inches by 6 inches. She will soon be moved to a 5.5 gallon glass tank, but for the meantime I still have this problem: I got a piece of glass cut that is a...

Another newbie to the snake world~

Hello everyone ^^ I thought I'd introduce myself, since I started posting without doing so, lol.. My name's Bobbi-- i'm 18 years old and a girl. :3 I never really liked snakes until a few years ago when i took AP Bio and my teacher had 3 or 4 snakes housed in the classroom (large ones, too...1...

    2 snakes in 1 cage?

Hello~ I was wondering whether or not it is looked down upon to have more than 1 corn snake in a single cage. I have 1 right now but am thinking about buying another soon. I haven't seen too much about keeping them in the same cage, so I was wondering if it was okay or advised against...

    Quick question...

Hello everyone ^^ I've never owned a snake before, but I just got a baby corn on Saturday at a ReptiCon in Orlando, FL. I'm really excited...she's so cute. I named her Isis. :D Normal coloring, but I love her anyways. Anyways, I was just wondering how long after feeding can I handle her...
