    Woo Hoo Graduation!!!

Yep, lil miss Amber has graduated to pinky rats. She's gone through quite a growth spurt. She has never adapted to eating F/T but has never met a live rodent she didn't like. :grin01: She's also gotten much more curious and spends a lot of time basking and cruising around the viv. When I...

    A couple more questions

I'm looking at Amber and am wondering when I can expect those glorious corn colors to start coming out. I want to say we got her in December. She was pretty small then, and now is about 16" long. That's a guess as she wasn't too cooperative in the measuring process. Next-does anyone know of...

    Another sdumb question

Is there any sort of guide/website to telling what morph a hatchling/young snake is? I mean something like: the (fill in the blank) morph is mostly (fill in the blank) with (fill in the blank) saddles, etc. When it matures it will be (fill in the blank). For example, I have no idea if Amber...

    Hiding

Amber is always hiding. If I take her out and handle her, when I put her back she may sit out for a bit, but then *zoop* right back into hiding. I would assume that is normal, but will there ever come a time when she'll just hang out, or am I doing something wrong?

    Shiny brand new

Hi there- My name is Stephanie and I am pretty darned new to the corn snake world. My husband Avery is a middle school science teacher and this all started as something to have displayed in his classroom. Well, we got little Amber (not the most original name for an amber corn snake, but what...
