    Tail rattling

    I am new to keeping a corn snake. Sometimes, I think when he's scared, he whips his tail back and forth, like he's pretending to be a rattlesnake. Is that normal?

    This is my new (to me) snake, Esh. I was told he was an Okeetee, but I don't think that's the case. I know he's nothing special to look at (like his owner!), but I think he's very lovely, although possibly a little bit underweight.
