    Im confused...

I'm so confused. In the last couple days my snake was completely in blue. She was in this state for about two days and then yesterday I fed her. Today I went into her enclosure and saw that she was no longer in blue, but there is absolutely no skin. It's weird. Have you ever heard of this.

    Mites

A few days ago I posted about my Orchestra having a bad shed, and she also had a black dot under one of her scales. The replies I got brought up the health issue of mites, so I just kept an eye on her. Well, Im pretty sure it is mites now because they have multiplied to about 7. Now I am...

I just found my snake has shed. It looks like she has some pieces stick to her and when her body is curved, her scales seem to jaggedly stick out. She seems so vulnerable right now. I don't really know how to help her. I just put her in a lukewarm shallow bath in a plastic container. What else...

    Substrate

So, I have been using a bark type substrate for my snakes so far, but I was wondering if anyone out there has used cage carpet? I heard that they are great to clean as you can spray them off when they get soiled. I know that some snakes will burrow under the carpet, and that could get...
