hey there. last night i tried to feed the snake a fuzzy. (he has had them before) he mouthed it then let go (twice) and then never ate. any input?

i want to get a red/blue no heat or very low heat light to put over the viv for night time viewing. i have a uth so i dont want to over heat the viv. just something small so we can observe the viv at night.

i set up a new 20g viv for my corn. my question is should i put him in after i feed him? will the stress of a new environment be bad for digestion? i plan to feed him today and thought i would put him in the viv from the feed tub.

is this ok? ive ordered a uth and hope to have it soon. i put a light on it today to bring up one side a bit. im going to attempt a feeding tomorrow but im concerned that he wwont eat if the temos arent right.

is it best to attempt a feeding in the evening when the snake is moving about? he seems to come out of his hide and explore his viv at night. this will be his first meal as he denied one attempt two days ago. i will try again tomorrow(sat).

i just got this guy or girl? on sunday. from what ive gathered its an amel. correct me if im wrong please. she/he is about 18-20 inches long.

i got the snake sunday. left him alone til this afternoon when i got home with his food. i took him out and handled him for about 5 minutes then put him in the feeding tub with two fuzzies. no interest. currently he is in a box alone with the fuzzies for about an hour now and still no eat...

ive read a ton of info on here and so far i guess its best to wait 5 days before handling the snake after introducing it to its new home? is this a definate 5 days? my son is driving me nuts wanting to hold him.
