10 gallong tank for smaller yearling?

My yearling corn is taking FOREVER to get some size on him. He's been refusing meals lately and I think it MAY be because he's in a 20 gal. tank. He has 2 hides and couple of perching spots, an UTH AND a heat lamp, but I'm wondering if I should go back to setting up an old 10 gal. I have.

Almost a year old- Doesn't seem to be all that big.

His name is Dave. I bought Dave from a reptile show back in January and he was your typical tiny hatchling size. So he had to be around two months old when I got him? Doesn't he seem kinda smallish to you guys? I would think a nearly year old corn snake would be on fuzzies by now. He kept one...

    New Corn Feeding question

First, I want to say this is a great community for corn snake enthusiasts to access info. I just picked up this normal at a pet store yesterday. The guy said they've had him since January and was about 3 mos. when they got him. That makes this guy about 10 months old. he said he's now feeding...

What is this corn snake called?

I know it’s the striped morph, but what exactly would you call it? He has a very pale colored head. I found this guy at a local Petco.

I think I got a Bloodred at Petco

    Opinions needed: Creamsicle?

Is this a Creamsicle or just a really orange Amel in your opinion? I picked her up last night at a local Petsmart, if you can believe that. Healthy and flighty, but calming down after a few minutes. I noticed she is a lot faster and stronger than my other two. thanks.

    Heating glass tank during winter

Thinking ahead to winter. I'm wondering if the zoo med UTH is enough for heat without a heat lamp. We like our house a little on the cool side during dead winter, like upper 60s. 68-70 is usually the temp inside. Sometimes we turn the heater on when we get cold. to 74-75.

    Good Lord, I hate aspen

Meh, I don't get the aspen recommendations. I don't know how people with many snakes use this stuff. I only have two, and it's everywhere. Gets in my dresser (tank's on top of dresser), it gets in my clothes, on the floor. Ok end of rant. Sorry.

    My new Anery

I'm up to 2 now. Lol, never thought that would happen. I blame this forum. Anyways, they're just pets, no plans for breeding. My snow:

    Zoo med Digital Thermometer

Picked up one of these over the weekend. Is there any reason not to keep it inside the tank? The instructions say to keep it outside the tank.... I'm guessin they mean for water tanks? The wire is pinched real bad by the tank lid when it's closed. Thx.

How often do you all handle your cornsnakes?

It seems like I handle mine about 5-10 minutes every morning (except after feeding day) before the kids get up. Does that seem to be about right?

    Snow

Hey guys. First post. I got this little guy at Petco. He's healthy, strong and is really cool. My kids love him already, but the snake gets a little flighty when the kids get too excited and move towards him too fast. They're still too young to handle him (4 and 2). Anyway, I switched him...
