    Weird question... Mold?

Has anyone ever experienced mold on their hatchlings? This guy is trying to get some advice and I have never heard of this in my life. He says they have white fluff on them. I searched the net and cannot find anything about mold or white fluff on hatchlings. So odd... Any advice???

    Probe question...

Do any of you tape the wire from your probe thermometer to the glass inside your viv's? My silly boy is using the wire as leverage and climbing up the side of his tank to actually crawl along the ceiling of his viv. LOL! I was going to tape it and wondered if any of you do? :shrugs:

    How often should I try?

Ok, everything has been going great with Billy and he is such a good boy. I wrote a couple of weeks ago about him not eating and was told it is mating season. Ok, sounds good to me. I have been trying to get him to eat just once a week since then. Then he went in to "blue" and hid for a few...

    Not hungry or mating season?

Ok, yesterday was Billy's day to get fed. He must think otherwise because he absolutely refused to eat. I even left it in there with him overnight. He would go up and check out the whole body of the rat pup, but would go about his business like he wasn't hungry. He would even get all excited...

    Refrigerating?

Ok, I decided to stick with feeding Billy two rat pups a week until he gets bigger. I got him two for this week around the size of the two he ate last week. I thawed them and did one at a time but he refused the second one. Probably because my kids were not being still (they wanted to watch) and...

    Billy's new home...

I finally got it just the way I want it and I think he likes it. The only thing he wouldn't let me change is his warm side hide. It's just a box but it's a comfy home to him. I bought a really nice hide for him and put it in there in place of the box and this snake actually searched the whole...

    Going to the vet's office

Okie dokie, I made an appointment for Billy for Friday at a vet that specializes in reptiles. I'm so glad we have one around here. Ok, I know y'all have to take your snakes to the vet, what do you take them in? Should I just put him in a pillow case or should I get him one of those tupperware...

How often should make snake poop?

Billy is 4 feet long and I fed him two rat pups last Wed. and Thurs. (One Wed and the other early Thursday morning) He pooped yesterday and today. Is that normal? How often are they supposed to go potty? *Note* The only reason I fed him that way is because he was actually found in a parking...

    Heating

Ok, I have a question... I got a ZooMed uth tonight and went to set it up and in reading the directions it says to prevent burns put a layer of reptile carpet down above where the heater is and then the aspen. I didn't know I needed to do that and now I don't know what I should do until I can...

    Is this an Albino??

I have a new snake and I have named him Albino Billy. He is without a doubt the sweetest snake I have ever handled but I don't know what kind he is... I was told, by describing him over the phone, that he is an Albino Corn snake. Do any of you own one and if so, is this indeed an Albino?? :shrugs:
