(Is this the place for a rant?) Pick-a-size paper towels what a joke!

First off, I keep my snakes on paper towel. I do this, because I can feed them in their bins, I dont have to worry about them getting wood splinters in there eyes, or between there scales, or impacting them in their hemipenes. I don't have to worry about bringing bugs in wood mites etc, I can...

    What I got in Daytona...

When I went to Daytona, I was not looking for anything in particular. I figured I'd probably end up with an anery sunkissed, or something similar. But I didn't. There were some there, but I just can't get passed the Stargazer thing, so instead I bought this: A full grown albino San Diego...

First egg hatched on Saturday, the 14th. Last 5? eggs, no change. I have never experienced such a substantial difference in hatch times. Are they taking their time,or are they D.I.E. and I am wasting mine? (By the way the one egg that hatched, hatched a kinked normal. {due to temp spike.} )

    Snake won't eat.

So my female laid eggs, and shed, everything seemed fine. I gave her a fuzzy, left her alone. The next week, I gave her a mouse treated with calcium power, to help her recover from egg laying. She ate it right down. But has not ate since. She has skipped 3 feedings. She lost a LOT of weight...

Maybe I missed the thread about this? (If so I apologize!)

But the Federal Epa announced that CO2 is a harmful substance on the 12/ 9? I have not seen anything much more then this. But I am curious how this will effect us, and how this will effect the reptile industry in general? Isn't CO2 used as a euthanasia agent for mice? If so, and the EPA begins...

So I went into work today, dreading another Monday. When a co-worker walks up, and hands me a pillow case containing a live snake. I was both happy, and saddened by this. So the question is: What do you do? What would you do, when a co-worker walks up to you and hands you a live Wild Caught...
