HELP... the mouse burst while he was swallowing- bit of entrail sticking out of mouth

Gave my ten-month old a small (might've been slightly larger than usual, but not too big for him) and whatever way he downed it, the mouse's stomach burst and there were guts hanging all over the place. He gulped most of em down but there's like... a piece of intestine or something still...

HELP! Snake is acting very odd!

My ten-month-old snake is acting completely out of character. Normally he's fairly docile, just likes to sit on his log or burrow in his substrate (the simple things in life, I suppose!)... He's a great feeder too, never missed a meal since I got him about 8 months ago. But tonight I returned...

    Ventilation

Just moved my yearling into a new tank. ^^ It's a nice big plastic affair with a clip on lid, which already had holes in the sides. There are thirteen holes on two of the four sides, and each hole is about a centimetre and a half. Do you reckon this is adaquate for ventilation or would it need...

    Hypomel

There's a really lovely hypomel I've been thinking of buying-- he's realy high contrast, and actually looks quite a bit like an ultrahypo (which I totally want but can't afford). My concern is; will hypomel colours fade as the snake gets older, or will they develop?

    HELP! She's gone!!!

Oh god. My nine-month-old anery has vanished. I went to check on her and she's just gone, completely gone. I last checked on her about 24 hours ago and she could be anywhere by now. I searched the immediate area, inside all my shoes etc. and warm places. Please, help, somebody. I need advice...

    Fuzzies still a problem

I started on double pinkie feeds well over a month ago and tried again today to get my seven-month-old corn to take a fuzzie. She just doesn't seem to be buying it-- even though she was a great feeder on pinks (never refused, according to my own records and the records I got from the reptile...

    Moving up to bigger food

After having it brought to my attention that my little six-month-old should have been eating something bigger than pinkies, I decided it was time to move her up. I did a couple of double pinkie feeds just to make sure she could digest big meals and those went without a glitch, so I decided to...

    Time between feeding and handling?

How long do you wait after you snake feeds before you handle them? I normally give my 6-month-old corn 24 hours digesting time before I'll take her out of the viv-- and so far no problems or regurg.

    Incomplete shed

My little corn just had an incomplete shed, and the skin broke off around three inches from the tip of her tail. Is it safe to peel the retained skin off, or better to soak her and let her get it off herself?

    Young snake-- temperature problem?

Hello... I obtained a baby corn a few days ago and I've got a UTH under the tank for heating purposes-- I have a stick on thermometer (and having looked around I'm seeing they're not exactly recomended...) which is reading 70 F, and I've noticed Perdita is sticking to the warm side of her tank...
