Nice little guys. I love the peach colors. Its so interesting to see how much the colors between males and females can differ. Looking at mine, you'd never believe they were siblings!

Thanks for the nice comments! I'm really happy with these two. Even though I have some other crazy breeding plans that I'd like to use these guys for, I think for their first couple of breeding years I'm just going to make more hypo-lavs with them. Definitely one of my favorite morphs. :)

Sure you don't want to ship a male down to pair up with my hypo blood? :)

Nice hypo lavs, btw. Look like they're chunky little things. How much do they weigh?

I'd love to, but I've got plans for 'em. Actually, my hypo-lav-blood path will be acheived without them, unless something happens to my lav-blood. I figured that if I pair him with one of my hypo-blood females, the non-keeper offspring will be bloods, and will be more marketable than the hypos I would have gotten from a pairing between a hypo-lav and a hypo-blood. :)

Thanks. They are both just over 30 grams. Not bad for three-month olds.

Goodness. You feeding them steroid injected mice?!

Nope. But I will confess that with my summer '05s, I was not skimpy with the feedings while they were on pinkies. I space fuzzy feedings at once every six days, but with pinkies, I fed every three to four days depending on the snake. So in the three months to-the-day that I've had them, they've each eaten 10 newborn pinks, 10 large pinks, and 4 fuzzies. Today's feeding day for them.

What's funny is that these were my tiniest 05 hatchlings. The male was only 4.1 grams at delivery, and the female was an even 5.0. But they loved to eat from the very start, and they had no problems sucking down whole newborn pinks, despite their size. :)

I'm just hoping that my opal, lav and hypo blood all really take off now that they'll be on rat pinks and beyond.

Holy Wow....great lookin babies you got. Im officially jealous!

Thanks Jen. You're officially jealous, and I'm officially broke. :grin01:

I also wanted to add that the female was the meanest, nastiest hatchling I've ever had. She's the only corn that's ever musked me. On delivery day she musked me, crapped on me, and bit me about twenty times, just in the time it took me to transfer her to her new enclosure. She's all sweetness now, though. :)
