Paradox Anery Motley

From above he just looks like a regular anery motley, but he has spots on his belly! He hatched out in a clutch that had a lot of anery mots and I never even noticed his anomaly until feeding last night.

The snake is genetically either a motley or a motley het stripe (both parents are motley het stripe) so the paradox is that he has those belly checks. I wasn't sure what other word to use to describe it!

Motley & stripe corns USUALLY don't have belly checkers..every now and then you'll hatch one that does.

Charles Pritzel, author of Cornsnake Morph Guide, words is nicely. Page 52 2009 edition: "The motley trait clears the belly of checkers. Some motleys will have a few checkers, and many will have black freckles on the belly..."

Hope that helps. The term paradox is usually reserved for situations where where animals have areas/patches/scales of color they shouldn't...ie...An albino corn with black flecks in its pattern. Or an anery with red speckles/flecks in it's pattern (even then thats usually refered to something like Ruby Freckled or ???.
