i have a 30 1/2" X 12 1/2" X 12 1/2" (L x W x H) vivarium, is it possible to put 2 corns in or would it be to small? and if possible would a new hatchling and a 7 week old corn be compatible? Thanks

I'm sure CAV will have plenty of reading for you to do in just a few moments...

Please hold....

Thanks for that introduction Quigs, you know me so well!

It isn't a matter of "if" but "when" something will happen. Transmition of illnesses, early breeding, male v. male combat, and my personal favorite cannibalism! I had a pair of older adult breeders this year go after each other. The female grabbed the male and started constricting. It doesn't just happen to hatchlings.

Without further delay, here ya go:

Why not to keep them together

Another reason........

And another........

And another........

And another........

And another........

Ask yourself if you can risk losing one or even both snakes to an accident. It's your choice.... :shrugs:

The Tank that you have could be divided in half. Take the measurements and go and get a piece of glass cut for you, and get some Aquarium silicon. place the new glass in the middle of the tank and make sure that it reaches the top, and then run a bead of silicon on all three sides and let dry. Also, make sure that when you put the top back on your tank, that there isn't any space as hatchlings can climb through things that you may think are too small. I am sure that if you use the search function, you will find a lot of info on it.

I just have to ask after viewing those photo's, did any of those little guy's survive? I know now that I'll never house corns together! Those pics are just so sad!
