It's a reference to power-feeding. The stick is used to jam multiple, over-sized prey items down a snake's throat. It was a dumb joke of mine in the "largest '05" thread.

I have a cute little '05 Abbott's for her. He is still a tiny guy, though. I am hoping he will be ready to breed in 2007.
