Just got sent some pics from breeder of my new snake having a nice tasty pinkie. Need a name for this little guy/gal, unsexed at present, so any ideas would be great.

Jupiter isn't a bad name, I've got a few days to make up my mind on that.

And marinneli, I hope the amount of white stays or goes down, I would love for it to be a perfect sunglow :)

congrats! amels are the best! Why dont you call him 'Lester', cos its kind of spelt like wer you live! lol

just received this little guy/gal... and wow! really strong colours and next to no white... picked it up for a little handle, so tame and just clung on to my fingers.

Just a quick update on this guy(?).

He went through a phase of being a picky eater, and his growth just stopped so he's not as big as expected, but he's onto small fuzzies now and eating fine, so things are looking up.

Got him out today and decided to test out the camera on my new phone (has great auto focus, but no flash). I took about 50 pics, but most of them are blurry/similar due to me trying to get a tongue shot, and he either sits there and does nothing, or zooms around flicking his tongue, camera isn't good enough for that

What kind of a phone do you have? I need to get one of those myself too. :)

Looks as if the amount of white has been increasing. But he's very pretty amel anyway!! Thanks for sharing these progression pics.

I have a G1, would prefer to have a real camera for taking some pics of my snakes though.

The amount of white hasn't increased much, just the old pictures are really bad quality

New camera = new pictures. Finally have some tongue shots, and ths colours are as I see them :)

Ok. So far he has some white so I wouldn't call him a sunglow - not at least yet. But his colours are extremely bright and vivid! Lovely amel! Congrats on having such a beautiful snake! :)

The white is increasing, so moving away from sunglow territory. Feeding shots....
