Wow, you guys across the pond have some of the prettiest examples of morphs anywhere! I know I shoulda been born over there lol

Gorgeous! I LOVE that ghost upper keys.....what makes it so? I'm trying to wrap my head around the whole genetics thing but it's so hard because there are so many different ways to make different things/morphs.

Anyways....educate me plz? lol

Thank you! The genetics of him is Upperkeys (Wild type of corn) With Anery and Hypo! So the 3 genes being homo makes a ghost upperkeys! I also have a anery upperkeys in the pics! Hope that sort of explains it! lol

OMG, you have some seriously fabulous snakes! (I was using the pictures as a little test for myself too...still learning morphs. I can pick out anerys and snows now :) ) Very nice photos!!

I, like most people, am using this thread as a little quiz to help me better understand morphs. Thoes are some reallly nice looking snakes you have! And one question. The "hets" (for example 'lavander stripe het hypo') are not shown in the phenotype right? In this case, the hypo isnt shown in the phenotype right? Im trying to get into this whole genetic thing too.

You will pick up the morphs in no time! I will put a link to the corn morph calculator at the bottom of this thread! It is the best one i have found and easy to use! Just Put snake at its hets in and it tells you what you can produce!

Hets are the hidden genes in the snake which when bred to a snake carrying same hets produces a snake showing all genes! So breed a lavender stripe het hypo to a lavender stripe het hypo you would get 3/4 lavender stripe ph hypo and 1/4 hypo lavenders! Check out the corn calulator as will explain it loads better! LOL.

Beautiful snakes. That Lavender Stripe is awesome.

She is lovely! Thank you!

That anery Upper Keys is really nice!

Hoping for a few of these next year!
