Hey everyone,

I was given a baby cornsnake as a birthday present on Friday. This is my first snake, I had a couple of geckos and a long tailed grass lizard in the past. I am learning lots of useful things about my little guy/ girl. I still looking for a name as i have no idea of its gender.

Thanks :)

Hello & welcome from Idaho, USA! Nice to have you on the forums. What morph (color) is your corn?

Hello to both of you!

Andrea, your description and your picture don't match, but if he's coppery with tan, he sounds like a normal/classic. But your picture looks really red. He also looks like he has no checkers on his belly and dots down his back? That would make him a classic motley. Classic is the normal colour and motley is his pattern name. Some people might miss your introduction hidden here in this thread, so you could make your own thread too. :)

The guy who i bought him from called him a creamcicle. Its so funny he is starting to bond with me. I can see him trying to stay on me when I to let other people hold him.
