What kind of morph? It's a rescue.

Told it is a Ghost. What you think? Look at the substrate.. Sucks!

Looking at it again, it could be a charcoal. Sometimes it can be difficult to tell, as all of the morphs have lots of variation in them. Have to see what everyone's opinions are.

I think you need to see the eyes to tell between anery and charcoal. IIRC, anerys have grey/silver eyes, but charcoals have black eyes. Could be a ghost too...don't ask me about their eyes! LOL

my first thought was an emory cause of these greenish brownish saddley but could be the monitor of my laptop!

They don't show any greenish tones on my monitor. Patterning looks pretty much cornsnake to my inexperienced eye too.

It's an EMORY'S (Great Plains) Ratsnake.... Pantherophis emoryi... You live in Corpus Christi (I went to highschool in Port A and have herped that area well) they are very common around there...

I stand corrected. I know you know more than I!

No worries- I lived down there for years and loved finding those guys. I moved there while I was in highschool from California where I had been working in pet stores... The first one I caught I said "Holy crud- an anery cornsnake"... LOL- they look ALOT like anery corns BUT there's noticeable differences (easier to see in person). Emory Ratsnakes are underrated in my view...very cool animals!

Thanks for your responses. The snake is in San Antonio. Yea I live in Corpus Christi, TX (Freaking hot down here! lol) I thought emori too at first. So Ghost Corn can pretty much be eliminated?

It's an emoryi buddy... sorry. I bred Ghost corns- It's not a Ghost corn... it's an emoryi. You can always pick up a ghost corn at a show- babies are cheap (less than $30 EASY) if you really want a Ghost.
