And the Normal 100% het Albino male Cape House snake, also still needing a name. He was a lot shyer than the female, so didn't get as good of pictures of him.
Got them out to feed them yesterday, so I snapped a few quick pictures. They both ate, always a great feeling with new snakes!
Still working on naming them ...
wow.. i really like the normal male too!
the more and more i get into snakes and morphs, the more i find myself falling inlove with the 'wild type' or 'normals'. I don't think I have found a morph yet that tops what the original wild animals looks like.. IMO
Got them out to feed again and the normal male had just shed, he lightened up a lot and is a beautiful yellowy caramel color. I tried to take a few pictures of him but he did not want to sit still!
Tried putting him in a bowl, but he didn't let me get more than one flying picture.
Then I picked him up and held in my left hand and took these with my right, using a camera with a macro lens that takes way too long to focus! Based on that, I'm actually super happy about how well these came out!
Have settled on names for them both, the male is Ukiah and the female is Indigo.
