Amel Sunkissed

Grand Bubble Burster
I'm really amazed at what sunkissed does to amel. Of course it's debated what standard hypo A does to it----hidden, masked, etc. I can guarantee you that sunkissed definitely has a most noticeable effect on hatchlings---so we'll see what happens when this snake gets a bit older..

And oh yeah, as you can tell....she loves me! ;)

Out of all the pics you've taken of her, these come closest to capturing her true colors. But she still looks better in person. Makes me wonder how amazing a sunkissed opal might look...

I'm also very interested in the whole sunkissed thing and i DO like to see progression pics of your sunkissed amel. So please, don't forget us when you take pictures ;)

Pretty sweet little creature you have there. Any chances of breeding that little one to an amel blood one of these days?

Quite possibly, but first she'll go with the male sunkissed blizzard I've got. Perhaps the 2nd year with an amel blood.

That's a good pairing. So what is your target morph, sunkissed charcoal?

I'm one of those bloodred freaks that automatically thinks you gotta get that combo in with the bloodreds. So that second year pairing will be real fun too.

Yup, that's the idea. I'll be able to mate the blizzard back to the normal female as well, but I'd like to test out the amel sunkissed female to see if she's het for charcoal or not. Even if she's not, I doubt I'll have problems selling amel sunkisseds het charcoal...

Any idea what that would look like? I can picture sunkissed on a red snake (having seen the photo above) but what would it do to pewter?
