Oz shed during the night. This in itself seemed a little odd he last shed 2/1/08 ate on 2/2/08 and has refused food since. When I went to get his shed out it was woud around water bowl, hubby was sitting at table so we let him crawl out. His viv is next to the table. He took a little cruise, sat in the chair for a minute, then decided to go around the corner next to the frig. That's when I decided to stop him. He is a kilo and not flab I could not get him, I could hold him from going further behind the frig, but he was still wrapped around chair. It took two of us to get him loose and back in viv.

They do get into tricky situations don't they? I remember how long it took me to get a Bairds rat unwound from CD player wires after it escaped the feeding tub...

Oh! yes, he as been with a couple girls already this year. He usually sheds every 6-8 weeks and it takes a minimum of two weeks. This time blue to shed 8 days.

Well uh then Oz is sympathy pre lay shedding

That's funny last year when his girl layed eggs he was pacing. This year my Creamsicle is almost constant motion and he isn't even in the same room with another snake, poor guy not eating. I'm pretty sure there will be no more breeding this year for these guys either.

Now thats a pretty snake!!

I cant wait for mine to grow and get their "adult" colours,,,

But they are sooo little and its going sooo slowly :)
