I went looking for a snake to shoot, since there were a couple really pretty water lillies blooming, and discovered that Janey had just shed! Janey is leaving for tomorrow, to go live with Robbie and Tony. Just because I need space, and she is an oddball snake that I have no breeding plans for. But she is super-sweet, a great TV snake, and I know she will have a great home with them so I don't have to worry about her.

I sometimes call Janey The Ugliest Snake In The World. She looks pretty good, fresh shed, in bright light, with a pretty background!

I am certain you will indeed miss ht little beauty.. The Potosi we have around here are always so docile, and indeed wonderful critters to keep.. My condolences to Nanci, and kudo's to Robbie and Tony.. I am sure they will the beauty in these very underated animals..

The only reason I can do it is because I've just had her a few months! It's still hard!! And she can come back home if it doesn't work out. She came to me from a friend, the same friend that gave me Choco, who was cutting his collection down to two snakes.
 
HI, JANEY!!!! :D She looks so pretty with the flowers! I'll have to do a nice little shoot with her in the trees when she gets here before she goes into her new tub. :D
