I have wanted an anery lav for forever! I had originally purchased just the male before Daytona but when I picked him I decided he needed a girlfriend! I am quite pleased. This year has officially been my "worst" snake year. I just doubled my population in less than a month! I think I am done LOL

Nice pick up.

And how was it to walk in the Kingdom?

For me being up here.. that would be a special treat.

They're beautiful Angela! (You think doubling is bad? I went from 1 to 27 in 5 months lol!) Congrats! :)

I had to choose between a pretty darned near perfect motley pattern and this girls pattern. I kinda like the abberant motley look better... but a perfect motley pattern is pretty sharp! It was hard to choose.

Very lovely! I love the male anery lavender. He looks just like the one I got this past Sunday....only mine is a Silver Queen Ghost..why do they look so much a like if they are not called the same thing?

Completely different genetics. Your silverqueen is a selectively bred ghost (hypomelanistic + anerythristic). My boy is a combo of anerythristic + lavender. If your snake and my snake were to breed, you would get a whole clutch of anerythristics that are heterozygous for hypo and lavender (which means they carry the traits but dont express them).

I'm the same way. Sometimes I look for perfect motley circles, and other times I am drawn to the cool aberrant patterns ~LOL~

That is very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I was just curious. I went to this really cool website the other day now I can't find it anywhere, I don't recall what it was called though, and now I want to go back to it and see more photos of corn snakes. I don't recall which thread I saw it on, it's very frustrating.
