That last picture is too cute.

Does he ever try to squeeze through that hole? I'm always afraid mine will get stuck trying to squeeze through it so I avoid the ones with holes.

Cute snake and great pics!

Just FYI, though... I've had a couple of snakes squeeze under the "lip" edges on critter keepers before. Perhaps that was the "bump" you heard as the "lip" came back down on the container. I know it is hard to believe, but I promise you... it can happen.

Just an FYI.

As for coconut holes... LOL. I'm the exact opposite! I LOOK for the ones with holes. :) That way I can look through it and determine if the snake is there or not without lifting the shell and disturbing them.

thank you every one :D

I put a 5lb book on top of his cage and even I cant lift the corners of the critter cage and he's so small i don't think he can either (although he did try very hard last night. ) I put the book on top because I was worried that he was going to try and get in between the lip of the top and then off into a huge house (he's very tiny and the house has many small holes where he can hide). I think that for the next few days the will be fine with the weight.

I do have a question about racks, I am getting an animal plastics rack in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone's ever had a corn escape one of those? ( I think we are getting the rubbermaid 2220 rack).

thanks
-Lena
