False Prophet
I just love the pattern on these guys! It was an overcast day, and these two just shed, so it made for a nice photo op... The High Orange Hypo female should shed any day now, so I'll add pics of her soon...

1.0 '09 PB&J? Guess we'll find out in a couple years ;)

Thanks for looking!

They are both gorgeous, Joe! I can't wait to see what the first one looks like as an adult!

That first one is truly amazing! I've never seen a snake that color before. Can't wait to see a progression on it.
Thanks for sharing them with us.

Joe, they are just gorgeous!!!! Brooksi?

They are almost as beautiful as my goini girl :) (but of course I think she's the most beautiful, I'm in love with her!)

But, yours are WICKED nice!

Me either, and I have lots of plans for him as well, lol....

I love that first one! And I don't normally like FL kings!

You know what? I didn't like them either when I thought they only came in yellow, ;)

Actually, not very many people have. In fact the guy in Daytona who's specialty is Florida Kings was kind of upset that someone other than him has them, and didn't pay his $450 price tag :nyah:

Thanks, the second one is Floridana, but with all the intergrades, even in the wild, I wouldn't be surprised if there was Brooksi blood in him too...

Very nice!

Thanks!

The female just shed about a half hour ago, so if we have nice weather tomorrow I'll get her outside for some pics, as well as my Goini crosses...

Uhhh, excuse me Mr. President in the dictionary under redundant it says see redundant. They are the same Brooksi is just more or less a locality of Florida kings.

BTW, awesome Jelly there. I have heard the Jelly X Jelly look better than the F1s

Lol, the only way I can tell how they separate the two is by the pattern, if it's uniform along the dorsal they say Floridana, if it's aberrant, they call it a Brooksi. :shrugs: I'm sure there's probably more to it than that, but I just usually go by the label ;)

The Jelly X Axanthic is the best one I've seen so far, but there is someone selling hets for Jelly X Axanthic White Sided, which I'm sure will be stunning.... :crazy01:

Just want you to know that your Florida Kings continue to make me envious! I LOVE the Jelly AND the normal looking HET one. Florida kings continue to be one of my favs!!

Unfortunately "Brooksi" are not recognized taxonomically anymore, I think they took away their subspecies status the same year that corns became Pantherophis guttatus. Some use it as a gimmick to be different on KS but originally they were the Fl kings caught along the canals in south FL most were a pure yellow that blended with the sand.

I completely agree and I have already started upon that road.

Now you know why I just call them Florida Kings, hence the thread title ;)

Nice on the White Sided, I'm thinking of just adding him into my Orange Hypo project and of course the Jurassic Milks...

Fresh Shed Pumpkin

Pumpkin shed last night, and I'm happy to see that her pinks are really starting to show. Not sure how well they'll show up on here, but I'm surprised with each shed. I'm so glad she's made breeding age and weight as I've had plans for this girl for some time now....

Those are beautiful Kings Joe! I always wanted to get a few of those. Guess I'll have to wait a few years. I'll just hit you up around that time ;)
