Hello all!
I was just given a a month ago, a friend of mine had far too many other commitments to care for her young corn and knew I was a snake fan, so I got lucky! She sent me home with 10 frozen pinkies, a 10 gal viv with under tank heating pad, thermometer and...the one that measures humidity (name escapes me...lol) two hides, climbing branch and large water dish. He (we dont know sex, so I just guessed to make naming him easier;) ) is a great eater, I'm feeding him a pinkie every 6-7 days, and he's yet to refuse anything. He's about 15" or so...and as you can see I'm bursting with pride. He was in the blue about two or three days ago...so I suppose we're getting ready for his first shed. Any advice would be very welcome, and I was very grateful for the faq's as they've made the learning process alot easier.
looking forward to my time here, take care folks!
by the way, His name is Yoshi. :p

Welcome aboard, Rosie! We're so glad to have you with us!

Sounds like you've got everything you need AND have read up! Kudos for you. You'll know that - of course - we LOVE pics! :)

BTW... The device that measures humidity is called either an hygrometer or simply "humidity gauge".

Hi Rosie, welcome.
The faqs are a big help here and so are the people. There are several Canadian members on the forum, they may be helpful to you when you're looking for something if there's one in your area.
