hope you enjoyed looking at my pics. (pleased ignore the orange mess on my thumb, it's just paint) lol

Your two males are huge! What do you feed them?! The butter motley is really pretty, if not so humongous. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

hey guys!

i feed jeepers creepers medium sized mice at the minute, hes coming on really well i think he has great muscle tone.
Dezmond is a really big corn, the pictures dont show it as well but he is also really long! X large mice are too small for him now so at the minute i have been trying him on gerbils and he seems to be loving them!

Gerbils... interesting! I give my big male jumbo mice and they always seem too small too, but rats made him sluggish. Will make a mental note!

Back on topic, great pics. There is something really striking about Eeva, she is beautiful.

thank you! ye the gerbils are LARGE! i would say that they are the perfect size for him to have a good meal that will last him a couple of weeks easily. try it out! see what you think! :)

Glad you could check in, Brett! Snakes look great!!

thanks nanci! teacher training keeps me busy but i still manage to give my snakes the time they diserve!

Great to see your snakies looking so good!

thank you! i really want to get more but i think i have to wait until i get my own place now. Hopefully wont be too long off as i have just applied for my first teaching job today! woo! lol

oh ye, if anyone in the uk either has or knows anyone who has a female corn snake of breedable size who they wish to breed let me know! Dezmond is definately gagging for it at the minute! hes out and about day and night, id be happy loan him out for breeding, i feel so sorry for him. lol

Good luck with getting a new job!
As for breeding loans, if you think about it, you'd have to trust the other breeder's husbandry, think about the possibility of disease transmission and that there woud be no time for decent quarantine before the breeding season is over, so if it was me I'd not lend Dezmond out and risk his health.

ah ye you make a very good point! i do feel sorry for the big guy tho! lol oh well!
thanks for the advice!

No worries! I had someone ask about borrowing my Christmas hypo male this year, but I just couldn't bear to lose him if something went wrong, and the thought of getting crypto! I'm really cautious about quarantine, I've built up my collection of pets, breeders and keepers and would hate to have to give up all my plans because of a mistake in trusting someone else's standards!

Beautiful snakes.

And I love your desktop background! Very funny.

thank you! the desktop picture is of a little toy soldier that i rescently hid in Barcelona on a trip! if you ever go keep your eyes peeled for him, you might find him! lol

That's so funny! I actually have a little Ziploc bag of plastic army guys that I've been considering hiding all over the place. =] Good to see I'm not the only goober.

Just curious, where do you get the gerbils? I tried breeding some for my corns but they never did have any babies. i had a male and 2 females, not one pup. Big wast since I had to pay $10 for the male and $15 each female.
