FOUND AFTER A MONTH MISSING!!!

K. Rene

Cozmic Cornz
So a month ago we had an escapee. Our 8 month old Anery I got my Boyfriend for Christmas this past year. I had searched the apartment, taken everything out of dressers, looked in every shoe (which was a lot of shoes) and found nothing till I noticed a hole in our wall where the cable guy had removed the cover to install the cable :( DESPAIR! I figured that she might have gotten into the walls and was a gonner! Idk if that's what happen but here is the story.

Leaving our apartment (second floor) this morning, my Boyfriend heads down the stairs while I lock the door. I hear "OH MY GOD" and then I see what he's after. She was at the bottom of the stairs OUTSIDE our apartment. I have no idea how she got there and it is a MIRACLE as far as I'm concerned that we found her. I thought she would be dead when he picked her up but she ferociously struck at him, musked him and pooped on him all at once LOL.

She is warming up and of course I gave her water ASAP. I am considering when I should feed her, sooner is probably better than latter? I'm not going to handle her till she gets used to being in her viv again and has been fed.

Thanks for reading. If you loose one in the future remember this story. Snakes are survivors. I don't know how her journey led her to the bottom of our steps, but thank goodness we found her. I hope see will be just fine :D

***See her pics in my album on my profile***

Wonderful news! Return of the prodigal snake! But I would probably wait a day or two before offering a meal as being found could be very stressful too.

Thats too cool, we had a snake that went missing for over 3 months or more found him outside bigger than when he went missing. That may explain the one we never found :( Thank goodness we worked out all of the kinks and no more walk about snakes.

Great. I tell people all the time that you will never find the snake while you are looking for it. You will just stumble over it one day. I had one missing for 3 months and found him.

Glad you found yours.

I have had two others escape and I found them when I was deliberately searching. But I figured we would stumble on the Anery if we were ever going to find her. Sneaky Snakes (shakes head)

I was going to wait... When we found her I said "WE would feed her later" to my Boyfriend. But he decided to take the initiative and feed her TODAY while I was at class without asking/telling me :( Sadly he doesn't know as much as I do about our snakes. But it's his snake so if she gets sick or dies it's not my fault.

Yay I am glad you found your snake! I lost Alex for a few hours a week ago and I went nuts. I finally found her, in an organizer drawer 4 inches away from her container! She was cuddled up with vampire/zombie comic books.:laugh01:
