Colorful Lavender in Blue with Updated Post-Shed Photos

Susan

Go Ahead, Make My Day!
Tristan is naturally a colorful lavender, but he's at that stage of shed where the color is at it's most intense. If the weather and my schedule permit, I'll try to take some shots of him in the same situations after he sheds for comparison.

Beautiful pics, as always, Susan. I like the way you've chosen differently colored backgrounds to show off your Tristan.

Beautiful Susan!!!! What kind of Opuntia is that. I have one like that that I found the cuttings of in the desert, and I have been trying forever to find out what kind it is.. Does it have orange flowers?

Just the kind that grows wild around here...green with yellow flowers and then red "fruit". The color change is probably due to the repeated freezes we've had. Here is a photo of what it normally looks like when in bloom:

Tristan shed last week, but I had to wait for when the weather conditions and my schedule coincided to get updated photos of him. Unfortunately, the little tree has already lost all of it's white blossoms, so you get one of my azaleas instead.

Wow, Susan he's breathtaking!

...if you dont feel right selling him, I'll let you just send him out my way if you like...lol

Awww!!!! No contests?! I was so hoping to participate in the next one!!!!! :(

Well, if anyone's interested in running it I'm interested in submitting photos. Likewise, if people are interested in participating and no one's interested in running it I guess I can opt out of the contest itself and run it.

I'll post a thread I s'pose...
