But my wife insisted I post this pic of one of our corn snakes since it turned out so well. Meet Diego:

And since I've got the links out, here is a pic of my first and favorite corn snake (green tree pythons have their own category for favorites). Meet Silky!

Thanks for looking!

Well props to your wife for insisting you post pics :D Beautiful corns. I also love the look of green tree pythons but I doubt I'll ever get one, the grow to big. Thanks for the pics ;)

Hey, a quick question for you guys. When I bought the first snake, it was clearly mislabeled as a jungle corn. I've always thought it was a Striped Amelanistic. But after seeing some other photos today, I'm not so sure. Any thoughts? Striped Amelanistic? Striped Sunglow? Striped Ultramelanistic?

I've finally been able to grasp genetics and whatnot of the corn snakes and want to plan for some future projects and buy some new animals in anticipation of breeding/pairing.

I'm not so sure it was mislabelled. Look at the headplates as opposed to your snows. The head plates (not the color or markings but the actual scales) on corns look pretty much the same, however they look different to me. More like the head plates on my jungle. There are after all striped kings so it is feesable that a striped king was bred to a striped corn for this. Isn't it?
