New Hypo Blood

Due to my other Hypo Blood Pip getting injured I decided to get one of his siblings because I had planed on breeding Pip one day but I don't think Pip will be able to breed anymore. So now I have two, which is fine by me cause they are so pretty!

I also have a question, they both have red eyes and after seeing a picture of a Lava Blood they appear to look more like that than any Hypo Blood I've seen. I've been told Hypos can have red eyes but I've never seen one with red pupils and irises. I will probably have to test breed to know for sure but anyone that has seen or has a Lava Blood what do you think?

Here is my new boy.

Very very nice! Your two hypo bloods are absolutely stunning!

Bloods are my favorite morph and hypo bloods are even better! I have a beautiful female hypo blood from SMR that needs a mate ;)

He's so red!!! I love his pattern. If you look for my lavablood, Yggdrasil, you can see his eye well in the two pics I have of him. They are very monotone, the pupil and iris.

Thanks everyone, they both are very bright which is why I love them so much but Pip is definitely brighter than my new boy.

The pictures you posted of Yggdrasil are what made me think they were actually Lava Bloods instead of Hypo Bloods.

Lava is a form of hypo isn't it?

Pretty - deeper red background than my crimson - very energetic looking too...

you might be surprised about the breeding with the one that got hurt - worth a try & you might be lucky ...

Just keep this one away from anything living and furry!

Glad to hear pip is doing ok - never thought I would say this but fingers crossed for poop lol

Lava is a hypo-like trait, yes. He is definitely a lot lighter and brighter than other Hypo Bloods I've seen (including my own!) You might want to ask the breeder about it.

It would be very unusual for lava to turn up accidentally, since relatively few people are working with it, much less lava blood. So if it _was_ a lavablood, the breeder would definitely know.

Carol has both, ask her! She is who my hypoblood Jasper is from, BTW.

Thanks, I asked the breeder what the parents were and he said Hypo Bloods so as of now I just condsider them hypos. I just find the their pink eyes very strange because I've never seen a pink eyed hypo blood. Maybe the color will change a bit as the get older? I guess only time will tell, right now I'm content with the fact they are pretty lol.

I agree, my Hypo Blood has darker eyes. Definitely a strange pair!
