Hey my name is Solomon and i just got my first snake. His full name is Sunny Florida. The reason for the name is because he was brought in Florida and Florida is the Sunshine state lol. He is my first snake ever and i do not no much about taking care of one so is open 2 any suggestions. Think he is a lil aggressive because when i go i the tank 2 remove some things he sometimes get into the tight "S" shape i was told about but after awhile he calms down. I feed him his two pinkies monday and after he ate his first one he went into his "S" shape again so i placed the second pinky down and waited till he ate it then placed it back in his home. So thats all 4 now hope 2 here from someone soon : ).

That is a FINE looking Okeetee-type snake! Very nice indeed. Little snakes can be a little aggressive but they get over it from what I have read. My little monster Attitude is gradually learning to be less agressive. Welcome to your new obsession!

That baby is NOT being agressive. He is being DEFENSIVE. Agression is where they bite, no matter what they want to bite. Babies rarely are truely agressive. You did just fine giving that nice sized guy 2 pinks. Though you will want to invest in a digital scale to keep track of his weight.

What kind of cage setup do you have for him?

Nice looking Okeetee. I'll be vacationing at Pensacola Beach this summer! Welcome to the boards.

Yes Pensacola Beach is very beautiful i hope u have fun there...Thank you everyone for replying 2 my post. I really like the love that you guys have for snakes and i hope it will grow on me two.

Hi there and welcome to the forum :D Beautiful Okeetee, thanks for sharing pics. Aren't they just wonderful? feel free to ask any questions we are here to help each other.

wow 25 grams He's about the same size as my little orange amel. Once he's been on 2 pinks and gets a little over 30 grams he'll be ready for small fuzzies and thats when the real growing begins. Good luck with your little guy thats one morph I don't have yet and plan on eventually getting.

there was a typo in the last post i placed...i wanted 2 say i cant find any small fuzzies where i live we only have hoppers : (.

You could check around for mouse breeders and get them from them or ask the petshop if they can special order the size you need. If you really can't find any fuzzies you could try doing 3 pinks until the snake is big enough for hoppers but that could take some time as the nutritional content of pinks are different from fuzzies. Push come to shove find someone near you with snakes and go in together on an order from an online company.

Hello and welcome to CS.com. The online way is the way to go. We just got an order of 500 various size and it came out to 36 cents per mouse, thats with shipping included. If you can find someone like carnivorous said that is the way to go. Good luck.
