Buf and Okeemo Update

False Prophet
The sun was shining and it was nice and warm, so I had to take these two guys out for some update shots....

Thanks for looking, lol... ;)

That's a gorgeous Buf you have there!!

LOL, thanks! I kept him because he was the only one with the odd coloration and banding... plus I had to name him Buf, so I can do, "Look at my Buf" posts... :grin01:

He came from a pair way back when I didn't know anything about the Ultra gene other than I thought it looked great. I got a pair listed as 1.0 Normal het Ultramel Caramel p/het Lavender Motley / 0.1 Normal het Ultramel Lavender Motley p/het Caramel... (you see the error as they could only have been het Ultra or Amel). I ended up with this guy, dark Normals, Ultramels, and Amels, so one of the parents was het Amel, not Ultra, one, (or both at this rate), wasn't het Motley, Caramel, or Lavender... I kept a few of each to breed back to each other down the road just to see... but I marked it down as a wash due to misinformation on the breeders part...

Nice SNOW (lava?) .
The title put me on the wrong leg , thought of the new gene (buff)

Thanks, his sister isn't quite as colorful, but can hold her own with a pinkish peach wash.

Lol, I named him last year as an homage to the Buf controversy...
