Hello

Jenn_Tigercat

Got Ghosts?
Hi, I am new to this forum but have had my snake since November, well one of them anyway. My name is Jen, I live in Colorado with my two corn snakes and my cat. Oh and a couple of mice (they are not breeders yet anyway)

I have a ghost corn Caedan he is a year old and just under 3 feet. I got him from petsmart who had him incorrectly labeled as a albino/Amelanistic.

My second boy came from the same place and apparently the pet store got him a month after they got Caedan. This ones Name is Cameron and he is a normal corn. He is about 2 feet.

Hi there and Welcome to the forum, happy to have you. Thanks for posting pics right off the bat. Beautiful corns :) your ghost has a lot of coloring on him. I got my first two corns in December '09 now were up to 9, lol 10 and 11 come on Wednesday :D I'm totally addicted. I love this site and I'm sure you will too. Don't be afraid to ask questions, were here to help. Check out the Chat sometime too, in the evenings is better.

Welcome! I love ghosts & your's is very beautiful! I could be wrong but your normal looks like he might be a hypo to me. They are both good looking snakes!

Thanks for the welcome. I hope to learn a lot here. I do have a couple of questions that I will post shortly.

@Tavia: As far as I know he is just a normal. From what I have been told hypos have highly reduced black on them.

Yeah, he's got quite a bit of black around his saddles but he's also got a really bright background color. However both normals & hypo's have a lot of variance, so he could be a very bright normal or a hypo with a lot of black still. It doesn't really matter though, unless you're planning on breeding.

Nope no breeding they are just my pets :) I might end up with a third in may when I go to the reptile show here in Colorado LOL.

Glad to have you with us! Cameron looks just like my Ava and Cassi. Both your corns are great, thanks for joining us and sharing a couple pics!
