Congrats John!! That's a great looking stack of eggs and just in time for Easter. What colors ya going to dye them?? :p

John, do you leave the eggs uncovered, or put moss over them?

I put damp moss on them cause even with a humidifier in the incubator, Colorado is awfully dry and eggs that are stacked the top ones seem to dry out.

thanks, I will use hatch rite this season for the first time and I am very curious how it will work... ;)
the reason that you don't have to put water in/on the boxes makes me wonder :)
good luck for the next coulpe fo weeks

I'm going to use HatchRite, too, if/when I get eggs. I've had the incubator running for over a month, and haven't had to add water yet. So it must be 100% humidity in there.

A few drops of food color probably would not hurt and would make a great picture for Easter.

Thanks Wade, but with all the slugs I am getting this year, not sure I want to take the chance with Hypo Plasmas. :shrugs:
