'09 Anery Something?

solo1979

Lovin' me some snakes!
I picked this guy up yesterday at SEWERFest. Tried to snap a few quick pics before getting him settled in to his new home. The pics didn't really capture his peachy tones as well as I would have liked but he's unlike any Anery I've seen. Was labeled as "Anery from a Pewter Project." His brother from the same clutch was for sale as well, with same description but he was a lot more rust colored, although still unlike what I would expect from an Anery. Any thoughts? Whatever he is, I got him for a STEAL and I'm very happy to have him!

Well if he is from a Pewter Project, maybe he is a Charcoal (Anery B) or a Phantom (Anery B and Hypo)?

Pewter = Charcoal and Diffused

He doesn't look like a Charcoal to me, but perhaps he is het. Seems like I remember seeing Anerys showing up Charcoal/Pewter projects over the last few years.

This snake looks to me to be within the normal bounds of what a light Anery could look like. Test breeding for sure is in order though!!

a belly shot would help with the ''hypo'' gene if it's a phantom...
im guessing phantom as well. either way it's a very nice looking corn...nice p/u!!

Thank you! Will try to get a belly shot later this week once he is settled a bit. Whatever he is, I got him for $25 and totally couldn't pass that up! That's less than I paid for my first amel!

He's gorgeous, I wouldn't have been able to pass him up at that price either. I have no idea what he is, perhaps anery A + some localty thing that makes for light colors and metallic saddles. Very nice!

Thanks Jen! I regret not taking a picture of his brother to show the difference. Honestly that one was pretty neat too!

Hi. awesome looking snake... I've been trying to ID mine and everyone here is so helpful but my pics are not even half as nice as yours. My new corn has exactly the same coloration as yours. Good luck with him/her..
