1/2 Lavblood??

During my Lavblood project the following lavender hatched a few days ago.

I heard something about a "filthy" blood line (half bloods?), but im not pretty sure if other members do some test pairings by now if they are het. or hom. any ideas?

besides the belly she looks like a normal lavender.

I don't know what you mean by "filthy" half bloods, but the bloodred (or diffused) gene is variably codominant with the wild-type gene at the bloodred locus. So hatchlings that are het for bloodred may look anywhere between a normally patterned individual and a diffused one. However, it is rare for a het blood to have fully diffused side pattern. Your snake looks like what I would expect a lavender het bloodred to look like.

Your lav girl is gorgeous, and she looks to be het for bloodred. Her belly has a few checks on the side and she is not diffused.

Why am I thinking the word you are looking for is "mudblood"?
